Title: my ZIMA
Post by: elevensies on January 03, 2012, 12:19 PM
my Zima made by Steve Geall, around 1996ish i think, heavy as hell, typical 90's tho, primo tyres, 46tooth profile ring, super7x's, cut down slams, tech 77 bent..

ha ha, no, but you gave steve the size of post you normally ran, then the frame was built with it for you, super super overbuild, it was ideal for park/mini.

They were! Shimano DX. Backyard found a stash of them around 94 and we all bought a few pairs and promptly destroyed them! Didn't have a clue how much they'd eventually be worth just wanted decent pedals!  :crazy2:

I think it was one with Ian Morris jumping in a check shirt on the front as I've still got a scan of that... and that was the only copy I had in the 90s!

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to add to this... I bought a Zima from Steve (too many years ago to remember). Mine was number 57, one of the first ones to have a sliding seat post. Perfect bike for me at the time. I still have it along with my first bike a Dyno Slammer and an old PK... Good memories....

Would love to know how many Zima's were built?

Cheers
