Title: all dressed up and ready to race [S&M content] Chris king update
Post by: Jaymz on January 07, 2012, 04:55 PM: Finally scored a padset off Fugazi to add the finishing touch to my S&M
I know its not to everyones taste the mix and match look, but I just loves it!!

Poor pics as it was getting dark, shame really as I was intending on fitting a new chris king headset to it

S&M RV frame - lugs removed [before i bought it] was raw and the original decals etched into the frame, then powdered blue over the top - then i added decals from del over the top
Fly race bars
Sunn forks
FSA pig headset - soon to be gold Chris King headset
Shimano XT cranks
Eclat pedals
Demolition Stealth stem
Pro lite seat clamp
Odyssey pitbull rear brake
Dia Tech dirty harry lever
Odyssey Aaron Ross Keyboard grips and bar ends
Jive donuts [now on my DK with my Jive grips]
repop padset
Sun Black Box rims laced to prolite hub [rear] suzue hub [front] blue spokes
Maxxis Grifter tyre [front] comp lll copy [rear]
Charge brown leather saddle [alloy post cut down to 4inches, generic guts]

changes I want to make
rear tyre - want a micro knobbly
seatpost - want a micro adjust [hate the look of seatguts under a slim saddle]
nicer bar ends
possibly change the front hub

then when I'm bored I want to raw it again. . . . . one day!!!!!

im a big fan of his headsets, but none of my bikes will take one as they are all either internal, or machined internals, and as i said before chris king hates internal headsets >:D

Nah not posey at all, maybe anal, like the 30mins i spent lining up the words king on the heradset cups so they both lined up and faced forward!!!

The last but one owner ground the lugs off so I no choice but to run a pitbull,which i dont mind as I love pitbulls

Funny you should say about overlapping loads of them, I was going to buy a few of the 100 sticker packs and do the whole bike at one point, but it seemed like a lot of effort for something that may look shlt

I think mine is called the 'Patriot' you can get them all mixed and matched now with any colour combo you like! ;)

some forks come with threaded top cap so the ck one wouldnt be needed on them.
ps you ned to change the back tyre to maxi dth or tioga powerblock for track riding they are mint
