i dont think it was rhe van de plas model,,lol
That wasn't the VP model.
The VP had a great fookin chrome grill on the front with a beautiful oak dash. 1500cc engine with a 5 speed transverse gearbox. Leather interior with fold down arm rests in the front. Oh, and don't forget that stupid pneumatic suspension :idiot2:
You never forget your first car :LolLolLolLol:

its all built tbh but needs the frame set powdering.having it done GT purple as its an 85 model i got with the hoop on the forks.
all good up here mate.
just starting to warm up a bit as i been layed outside half the day lowering my vw van :idiot2:
-
lol, mines an 84, i was wondering if the forks had the cable guide on then, ? if not ill get a set of forks and grind it off :daumenhoch:
-
i think its was the 85's that they started putting the cable loop on mucka.
the forks are a fooker to get.
they make silly money.
i got an early gt pro here and the price some of the forks were making to fit that were crazy money.
dropped on a bit later pair in the end to make do on it for a bit.
you building it just like your old bike. is that a hot seat on it ?.
-
very similar mate,, yep and thats a hot seat :daumenhoch: our kids moved to mexico for a year, i wonderin what gems he might come across out there for a few pesos (hopefully not full of coke) LOL
