:daumenhoch: cracking paddy. more of these typres of bikes need to be done, keep the history alive, cant wait to see it finished, the colours look great
-
a bit different mate , like it :daumenhoch:
-
like it :daumenhoch:
-
That was my first BMX. Mine was a Kalkhoff Spitfire. Exactly the same except mine had some sort of nasty light blue plastic coating on the bars. Wasn't the best bike bike in the world but its what got me started. Brings back memories of ramps made from a pile of bricks and a plank of wood.
-
Looking good, it's nice to see the less familiar makes every now and then. Nice colour combo. :daumenhoch:
-
Awesome mate, like to see lower end bikes given some love too.
Keep it real, most of us started on something like this :daumenhoch:

defo not ;D ;D

I think if we don't save stuff like this it will be a shame - most of us started on lesser bmx's and found a love for the game - most may have moved on, but you got to respect the roots of why you started bmxing
top work there and i love the underdog shinning through >:D
There have been a few Kalkhoffs turn up - like the viceroys - not much know but they were out there at the time
have this in the shed

was what looks like the original chain wheel in the before picture not salvageable? think it would still go with the restoration.

The chainwheel you have put on looks fine,i think the one jaymz has echoes the feel of the bike better, looks earlier and more obscure! :daumenhoch:
-
i like it .. can always get away with spider style !! tyres too fat though !
-
