Title: CJ BUTLER - Ride in peace
Post by: baldbmxer on January 24, 2012, 02:02 PM: Its a sad day in OS BMX and modern day BMX today as the sad news circulates that CJ Butler aka Boogie Number plates has lost his fight against cancer.

CJ was a little ripper who turned into a big ripper. Cool and laid back he tore up tracks where ever he rode.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Post by: Humps00 on January 24, 2012, 02:34 PM: Only ever saw CJ ride once at Cheddar in last couple of years. Remember some really garish gear he was wearing but he was rad as fcuk. So sad that yet another BMXer has been taken from us so early in his life. RIP CJ and my thoughts are with his family and friends. Humps

Post by: Haro82 on January 24, 2012, 03:03 PM: I didn't know him and I don't think I ever saw him ride but having seen the depth of feeling that was there for him at the Manchester National a couple of weeks ago when his battle for life was mentioned on the mic, I know he must have been one hell of a fella.

RIP CJ and sincere condolences to his family and friends.
