Title: 1 1/8th headset questions
Post by: ED209 on January 31, 2012, 09:22 PM
 :buck2:

what happened to the good ol'days of 1" headsets  ::)

right... I've bought some Landing Gear 1 1/8 forks that have a big shim thing at the top that look like they would go with a big head tube frame and I'm looking for a headset to fit it.

These are going on a Dyno NFX with a 1 1/8 headset and I've got a headset off of the Haro Mirra that has a larger bottom cup and bearing race than the top cup... is that normal with headsets?? thats the kind of thing I need.

Theres a pic of the forks below... if anyone can recommend a headset to match these forks or let me know where I can get one with a bigger bottom cup than the top... or nay info on fitting these forks in the frame would be great  :)

You need an fsa pig headset mate. Should fit with no problems.  And has a large lower cup and bearing race.  :daumenhoch:
I have one somewhere if you want it. £10 posted. Cheers stu
