B0llocks to age related - if it does it for you that's what counts :)

I got mine sometime in the mid 2000's. It was one of the first LAFs. The dropouts were quite big. I cut them down quite a bit. I have got a new bike now (a custom ATF, which it pretty much the same as the LAF was). Now the LAF is set up as a race/trails bike. Not that I do much of either.

Here's how it looked when it was my main bike. Over its life I changed/painted the forks, changed bars a few times, and seat.

I just checked, I got mine in April 06. Here's when I opened the box (see how big the dropout was on the first ones).
Also Pre XLT pitchforks (when you could get brake mounts as stock), and SMAL SLAM bars (I ended up using BSD bars).

wow thats a propper selection of goodies :P

yeah mine is later 2006 with smaller dropouts, and a really rough LAF welded lettering, but i dont care,

in fairness i prefer my v1 stricker, it just seems ''harder'' an heavier
