Title: What is this stuff and what is it worth ?
Post by: Tonto on February 02, 2012, 12:55 PM: Right people I picked up a ride a while back n it had this on it so what are they n what are they worth as I prob won't use them , the forks had pitchfork decals on but dno if they actualy are ?

Does the bottom bearing race sit on a welded "ring" (like many 80s forks) or does it sit on a second tube, over the steer tube (like Landing Gears) ?

Yep, same as the steer tube :daumenhoch:

if they are S&M forks, then they are Pre-pitch (there is a thread about S&M forks in the Mid section)

On this side of the planet that frame alone would probably sell for around 300.00
