Title: Fit Eddie V3 Redone
Post by: Dannywhac on February 03, 2012, 12:48 PM
Wellllll,

Me lovely S&M US made Eddie had seen better days (was trans red), so before chrimbo sent it off to Dan for a bit of powder love - needed it it was dented, dinged, pitted and generally fooked. Dan did an amazing job, sorted out the majority of the nastiness with lashings of powder. I always wanted a Rigid frame back in the late 90's, and nearly always rode dark coloured bikes back then (and since) so decided to go with Nate Wessels colour scheme on his rigid:

Grabbed some new peds, forks, grips, chain, seat and the crackin' splined Tree sprocket (wanted an L7 but no bugger could get them - curse Moeller ;) ) and ended up with this candy powder fade (not to everyone's taste, but fancied a change):

Pics don't do the green justice (my camera doesn't like green). Feel free to mock.

About 2 years ago, I built Keep it Lit a set of wheels that would look a peach on that, nice frame and props to Dan  :4_17_5:

Cheers fellas  :daumenhoch: Although I now worry I look an even bigger tw@t riding a kids bike when it's dayglo.....

As Robbo said - the candy on the frames much better in the metal  ;D Need to sort my photography skills out, as it's not the camera that's at fault.....

Them wheels would go a treat - wouldn't have minded a new wheel setup, but the wallet wouldn't stretch so stuck with me G-plops and bondi's.

Dan's a legend   :4_17_5: - how the fook he managed to do a candy fade christ knows - bet it was a real barsted to do.
