mmmmm its all well and funky but where are the pegs :LolLolLolLol: i know some can flatland with out brakes and pegs but its not for me

that wouldnt last 5 mins!
theres no spokes so the rims even though they dont move are gonna buckle with 12+ stone of a flatlander scuffing and standing on them
also the weakest part is gonna be where the fork joins the rim, if all your weight is on the rim opposite that join i.e giving you the most leverage its gonna snap it off
theres no drive so how do you get about? if you have no car to drive to your spot then your screwed unless u scuff your way there :LolLolLolLol:
looks to me the designer has basicly tried to copy this but for bmx

and the writer hasnt thought about any of the issues i wrote above!

simple - he could make it out of pure CHROME (strongest substance known to man)

I can see how the idea would pedal, its integrated inside the frame to the bottom 'side hub' in theory it would work, but in reality it would be shat
-
It looks like crap anyway.

I've seen the same concept on motorbikes for years, never taken off. Only one I've seen ridden is the Tron one.

Looks cool , but will never work !!
-
Looks like a Franco Sbarro creation 8)
Purely form over function though :)
It will always be a concept , due to it never being practical or more importantly cost effective
Still I like the look of it :coolsmiley:

Wouldn't the reduced revolving mass reduce the gyroscope effect and make the bike harder to ride? ???
Also, when doing tricks, the bike may be at an odd angle for the fork/rim connection and it'd need to be plenty strong to take the force. Hub based wheels have the same strength in all directions.

I think it looks shite :-\ regardless of performance, it looks shite.
-
From the side it looks more like a logo than a bike.

Completely agree Tom. Also what about weight distribution...?
Horrible! Sinclair C5 comes to mind...! :idiot2:

I reckon the newton would have some issues, Why have long forks that are more likely to bend? An interesting concept though :daumenhoch:
