Looks good I think, what about some rickman or CW freestyle bars?
-
looks good :daumenhoch: nice to see vectors not on a haro :LolLolLolLol:
-
I'd be tempted to sell em and buy something else Steve. They seem to fetch a fortune these days so you could have your pick of what you wanted with the cash. Never a fan of them tbh but its all down to personal preference :daumenhoch:
-
Vectors all the way for me, my favourite bars of all time :4_17_5:
Hope you already have some or have very deep pockets Steve!
Bru :daumenhoch:
Some Vectors just sold on Ebay UK a few days ago
-
It's a while since I've seen that build Steve :smitten:
looks good with the Vectors 8)
but if you fancy a change
Also british and from around 84 ish ,,what about
t45 Curtis freestyle bars ::)
-
does the trick for me :daumenhoch:
but like has been said, with them fetching strong money,it would provide good funds to use elswhere
-
Not keen on the Red Skyways :coolsmiley:
You'd be better off selling them to me :daumenhoch:
Vectors look cool :smitten:
-
Not for me.
Go with some DP Ladder Bars or Haro Kneesavers.
And a Tuff Neck Freestyle stem.....
-
Vectors look cool as feck IMO Steve :coolsmiley:
Plus if you decide to put them on, does that then free up the other bars (you know which :LolLolLolLol: ) ? ???
:2funny:

i hate vectors on any bike ever made and that includes haros.
fookin orrible things :crazy2:

x2 fugly bars, would hate to see that gorgeous chrome badlander with those things on!i'd be tempted to put a set of vincent paul hudson bars on that!! :Great_Britain:

Here is Steves Badlander in its present incarnation with Redline forklifters which suit it really well i think :daumenhoch:
I reckon the Vectors will look great on the Chrome Badlander though :daumenhoch:

That black one does look good. I think it would look better if it had the drop down top tube freestyle version though. I must admit I'm not a fan of vector bars. They have always looked wrong to me. The first thing I took off my Haro and sold on. Kappys one looks good with action zones. But they are like rocking horse poo! :)

the freestyle forklifters are 85 though Stu!which Vincent Bars are the Action zones, are they the twin tube ones? :idiot2:Edit,sorry i just looked, they are not,but they are gorgeous bars! :smitten:

No action zone wasn't anything to do with Vincent. There first bars were made by vdc but they weren't very strong. Only a few were made before production was taken elsewhere. There are a few of the vdc bars left. They look similar but have a wider crossbar. :daumenhoch:
-
Yes would have loved a set of chrome forklifter freestyle bars but very pricy and hard to find :daumenhoch:
-
CW twin top bars
-
I think they look right on an MRD :daumenhoch:
-
Yeah redline forklifters are getting rare to find now. There was a white set for sale at mk11 for £50. Bargain!! They do come up every so often though at a reasonable price. (I would say reasonable being under £100) I would say that bars are the second most important thing on a build after the frame and forks. They are one of the few bits than can make a build look awesome. But can also make a good frame and forks look average. I would invest the money into buying a decent set. You will only wish you had when they are selling for big bucks in the future. I tend to look at photos on the museum and rad to get a feel for what looks right. :daumenhoch:
Personally I would go for the freestyle redline fork lifters. I have always liked them. My second favourite early 80's bars after the action zones. :smitten:

What year were Action 2ones produced ?
-
1985 if I remember right. :daumenhoch:

never been a fan of those Vector bars myself but each to their own.
