Title: Restoring A Tange BB.
Post by: Retrodan72 on February 06, 2012, 11:30 AM
I've got a couple of builds on the go so i've bought 2 Tange BB's, I use these as they're easy to get hold of and look good imo when all polished up. :coolsmiley:

The ones i've used on my other builds have polished up nicely using a Dremel and some Autosol but these 2 need replating, so I was wondering which way is best to go, chrome or zinc?? :-\

Cheers Dan. :daumenhoch:

Chrome will give a brighter finish, zinc tends to be duller.

Yeah, that's what I thought, just worried that if I go chrome, i'll lose the stamping or harm the threads?? :-\
