Title: This arrived from Hong Kong today
Post by: AKGOFF on February 11, 2012, 02:33 PM
Been waiting on this NOS Phaze 1 Mini for a week or so now and was getting a bit jumpy as its value was only declared as $75 so I'm stoked it got here safely. The picture does not do this thing justice, it really is beautiful and the Chrome is flawless. Nice early Serial number too. I have all the parts for this apart from the bars which will be on their way next week (thanks Glynn) and i have to get something powdered so Steve should have this built in 2-3 weeks.
Got to say that if it wasn't for Eagle Eyes Ash who found this and PMd me I may have missed it so Ash, you are a star.  :daumenhoch:

Nice one Adam, about time we schooled you on building your own bike though.

Could make for any interesting thread, especially with pictures of your progress..... :LolLolLolLol:

Yeah good score there Adam.  :smitten:

I also agree with Robbo. It's about time you built one yourself. I think it's about time you got over your demons!  :daumenhoch:

Yeah good score there Adam.  :smitten:

I think it's about time you got over your demons!  :daumenhoch:

That's a bit melodramatic isn't it Stu? :LolLolLolLol: I haven't got any 'Demons' ya Plum, I just like the hunt for the parts and satisfaction of knowing I own a stunning bike once built.

I think you will get more appreciation from other members on here if you put it together yourself.   :daumenhoch:

Sorry, but I find it ridiculous.  :-[

They did snap, infact I think someone told me that they were banned from racing because of it but that makes them way cooler and obviously, rarer  :daumenhoch:

yeah i can remember bitd a lad that raced at our club had to cover up the Z up with an old bit of foam and electrical tape as they wouldn't let him race it otherwise.

Not sure if CW 'Z's were ever banned from racing but i do know in NBMXA at least they made people put an extra pad on tthe downtube.  I seem to remember people having a black leather cover with bugger all padding tailored so you still saw the Zed shape.

Lovely bikes btw.
