Hi all
From having one when i was a teenager, I was so stoked to grab an FS1 on eBay and began collecting all the original parts straight away. When it arrived I was so sad to see under an industrial sized seat post clamp this crack:

After getting some great advice from the BMXmuseums's forum, and happily being told it's not a right off, I'm looking for a welder.
I've seen Phil Sawzall's name mentioned and his work is great. I've tried looking for his account but can't find any details.
If anyone has any advice at all, please let me know. It'd be really appreciated. I'm in SW London but more than willing to travel and post to save my goose.
