Im having this pk ripper frame and fork repsrayed - All the bits are coming off and nicer parts going on -
but its the colour I cant decide on. At the mo its black and is scratched to hell - so..
Here's the choice [as its what i casn choose from from my local sprayer] and its my two favourite pk colours -
BABY BLUE or WHITE? The decals I have to go on are black with a light blue shadow on the letters. ALl the parts will be black or chrome. Itll be frame and forks being painted.
What would you choose between baby blue or white?

White with a chrome fork will look good.
If you want to paint the forks, I'd go for:
White frame, baby blue forks, baby blue frame stickers, black fork stickers (Mike Buff style)
-
its gota be white with those colour stickers.

Ive actually been thinking - what about baby blue forks with black stickers, and a brown frame with the black decals with light blue letter shadows? Se brown and blue then!If not, would a white frame with the black decals with blue shadowing work with the baby blue forks? Or did Mike buff have just black lettering?

You can see Buff's Ripper (or a fantastic reproduction of it) if you search for 'Mike Buff' on the vbmx site.
Frame and headtube stickers were baby blue, seat-tube and fork stickers were black.
Edit: You'd just need to get the black fork stickers seperately, the others are standard for a 'baby blue' set.
Do you mean the light brown, tan? That would be pretty unique, haven't seen many, mainly OM Flyers I've seen in that colour.
Play around with a pic in MS Paint, it can give a rough idea as to what it'll look like.

Go brown and blue. It will look COOL. Especially if the brown is matt and the blue gloss. Cheers Dave ;)

Thanks for the comments guys - Im thinking it comes down to two choices - I already have a NOS pair of landing gears in baby blue .... so its gonna either be a white frame or brown - my inkling is to go for a chocolately brown - with the blue forks and black/blue decals should look sweet do you think? And a little different to the norm but in keeping with the SE brown/blue theme...
Cheers,
steve

I've got a set of SE vinyl pads in brown if you need 'em ;)

Steve . . . I played about with some colours for you last night though I ran out of time to pull the decals through but at least you have a visual to help make your mind up ;)

steve - thats absolutely awesome! Thanks so much for doing that, it makes my decision so much easier actually having a visual to work from!
Its definately gonna be one of the last two - One last question -
which brown is more in keeping with the old SE team colours?
Any info greatly appreciated! Am taking it to the sprayers tonight ...
