Title: haro master bars '85ish
Post by: doctor-46 on February 21, 2012, 02:32 PM
should these be stamped/marked up in any way?
just stripping them down and can't find any markings on them, they have a knurled top tube and knurling where the stem clamps up, and nice neat welds.

they don't look too clever at the mo, in rattle-can primer.  :-[
i swapped them with a mate for my GT performer bars in about '88, so i hope i wasn't ripped off with some fakes!   ;D
pretty sure they are real, just surprised that there is no markings.

It all depends on  who made them and when as to the markings.  I have had a few sets of these and two have both been stamped and two have not :daumenhoch: normally the Knurling is different on copies  :daumenhoch:

different in what way?
these have a straight knurl on the cross bar, and a slightly lighter straight knurl in two sections where the stem clamps them.
