Ok, well the purists won't like this so move along if you are gonna give me a hard time!! :D
Well, I came across this Tange Hot-Heart frame on Ebay last year, NOS, still in it's original cardboard from 1983. For £90 and a 15 minute drive
from work seemed like a pretty good deal.

Before you kidnap me, nail me to a cross and stone me to death, the heart was already drilled out so there was only really one direction (sam's favourite boy-band by the way) this
could ever go in. (My excuse anyway!!)
As it was frame only I set about locating some forks. Was just going to slap some generic forks on but Joe (oldskoodayz) had some original Tange Kuwi ET forks so I snapped
those up too.

Time for the paint job. I got up early one morning at about 7.30am packed it in the boot and drove all the way to Sams (meticulous) house. I got there at 7.33am !! :2funny:
Anyway, a couple of weeks later it arrived like this:

There it stood for for 4 or 5 months until I decided it was time to start sourcing some bits. I was always going to add gold parts as it looked so good on Sams Kuwi. :smitten:
I was going to try and do it on a budget and stick to non standard parts but having sourced some nice original NOS parts from MK I decided what the hell!
Everything is mainly NOS.
So, here it is the finished article. Just waiting for my pads to turn up off Firebird Steve and I'll be happy with it. :daumenhoch:
My apologies to the purists but I just couldn't help myself!!

I'm confused about the question. NOS simply means it's New, Old Stock. Irrelevant as to wether the heart has been drilled. You can't get much more NOS than
still in it's original factory cardboard. Just some drongo took a drill to it. ???

That looks bob on. :coolsmiley:
