wasnt that bike/frame for sale a nfew weeks aho somewhere in Europe? Kind of looks familiar!

If it was does the story of 'Uncle Stu' giving him the bike seem a bit funny.

Ask questions me thinks

I've just posted asking who ebay id, danniellemb is, as they are bidding.

It was in Germany and the old link is http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7239929928&sspagename=ADME:B:AAQ:UK:1 I had asked if they would sell the decals.

It didn't sell as reserve was not met, the current seller is a newbie.

Worth at least asking for an explanation.

Yup just seen on the other thread I started.

Motomag, ask the question of how this chap got it - wouldn't want a member on here stung.

Good luck

I've no doubt about the picture, its real, but does the seller have it??

You could ask for some pictures of the frame close up etc

The german was selling not long ago, it may be worth dropping him a line via ebay to see if he did sell it?

I guess the easiest way isto see if anyone lives near by they can call round and have a ganders at it.

Quite frankly lads, you'd be better off with just the frame and fork anyway  - the way that is set up in the pics is all wrong!

Take it from me , Mattdub and even Subwax - that thing looks like shizz and needs a Trinny and Susanna make over - lol.

I agree it does look shite, but the forks aren't the GHP ones either - I'm still looking for some (Neil - wanna sell yet??)

It just seemed odd that the bike was for sale not long ago in Germany and now it is for sale as frame only in the UK, using the same photo's from the original auction!!

If it could be a start point for a build like yours Andy, then it is well worth getting - assuming it exists!!! ;)

Check the serial number too (for year of mfg).

Hi Matt - I'm fine thanks :)

I have just ebay mailed the original seller, as I had asked him when his auction was live if he would sell me the decals only.

I say that I noticed the bike didn't sell and wil he consider parting it out, especially the decals?

His name on his original reply to me in May was Juergen, not Stu!!!

I'll let you know.

The frame the seller has up for auction is an 85 CyclePro GHP. The serial number starts L85 - L designates a CyclePro, and 85 the year. We spoke a few days ago and he said he would update the auction, but he hasnt.

Just a heads up.
