As a few of you know I un spectacularly fell off my bike last year have been broken since any way I had my first operation at the start of December and all looked good until I was speaking to a friends dad about my injury and planned operation, I wasn’t aware this bloke was actually a retired orthopaedic surgeon to say he was a little perplexed was an understatement.
Anyway this got me thinking that if some buggers going to chop me open I better be sure he’s doing it for the right reasons I have private health care so I went to my GP and he referred me to the local private hospital. It turns out that the planned second operation is completely unnecessary and yes I do need some work on my shoulder but it will literally be a key hold job taking a day with about 3-4 weeks recovery instead of the 5-7 days in hospital with 9-12 months recovery time and he says I perfectly fine to do some “light” riding
So to say I’m a happy little chunky monkey with the news is an understatement so I thought I need a new bike and I need it NOW !!! I’ve got another one on the got but people who know me know I take my time in putting them together…..So I thought it best if I pick up a cheap second hand complete to put me on, the other night I saw a badly listed bike and thought Hummmm cheeky Northern bid on that one and I won it its in near perfect condition no scratches dents or owt not been abused or owt its even still got the original grips and pedals on it. So jumped in the car from Bromsgrove to Coventry and 30 minutes later I’m the owner of
2008 Eastern Ace of Spaces……..and it was cheap as chips

Few bits have been ordered; grips, tyres, cable, pedals but apart from that I’m happy with it and for how much I get to ride + my skill levels its spot on

Now that is really nice. I think eastern bikes are under rated. They are really strong and always built well. With top tubing!! That's a great buy. Now get out riding my son! :daumenhoch:
