Yet another 'unexpected' member of the Tange family that's managed to get in front of my long suffering Rhino/s ;D
I always thought I'd get one of these at some point but never expect it to happen so quickly.
To say I'm chuffed to bits with it is an understatement. I just got back from a few miles along the seafront and I'm still smiling :) :)
I have to give out a massive thanks to Giles - B-Boyblue for allowing me to twist his arm on the frame, The Jedi Knight for the stem,
Waza over in Oz for the forks, TJ for the peds & Matt for his patience on the ring ::) ;D
I kept a few parts from the Peugeot but here's the full run down:
1983 Kuwahara Laserlite KZ-3
NOS Kuwahara Tange TRX (1980) - ET Decals on the way from Del ;)
Araya 7X on Sealed Suzue Hubs, Tange MX-3 & Locknut, Replica ESP Stem :coolsmiley:
NOS Tioga V-Bars, Tange Grips, Shimano cable, DX Lever & NOS Tourney Caliper,
Suntour Clamp, Tioga Post, Padded Jaguar II Seat, Takagi Ultra-Dyno Crankc,
Takagi - Tange BB, Suntour XC-II Peds, Izumi, Re-issue Comp III's

It also has to be said, that I thank absolutely everyone who has ever bought anything from me at anytime, ever!!
I for one wouldn't be able to participate in this hobby if it wasn't for you and I wouldn't have enjoyed days like today.
I am truly grateful :) :daumenhoch:

would like to see some pics witha nice sweet background and maybe from the other side - it deserves a couple of great shots to show it off

Thanks for the kind works lads. I'm well up for that spin Miles just let me know mate :daumenhoch:
I took it out yesterday with the other stem on but swapped it out to give me a bit more room.
The bars worked out a treat as well which I didn't expect.
Bendy, I'll try to get some better pics done tomorrow but it's no show pony TBH...Survivor chrome etc.
The forks were NOS but have a few knocks. I got them for the Kuwie paint reference as much as anything
:coolsmiley: :-X
The front end is very responsive so I might end up slamming the stem. Had a complete nightmare with the bloody chain alignment again >:(
Had to shim out the BB, re-space the back wheel and ended up putting the chainring on the inside of the spider but it runs like a dream now.
I can't tell you how much I love this bike. It's in front of me know and I can't keep my eyes off it...
I feel like a teenager again ::) ;D

Looking good, I think the kuwi ET decals on the forks will finish it nicely :smitten:
