Title: One piece Redline Crank fitted to Hutch Chainring problem
Post by: marcroff on March 12, 2012, 11:14 AM
Hi  I doing my first build and im  really struggling trying to put a Redline one piece crank with a Hutch chainring. When i tighten the two together it wont sit flush and there is a bit of movement. The pin on the crank also doesnt go all the way through the hole in the chainring. Is there an adapter to make it sit flush, or am i out of luck trying to put the two together?

Thanks in advance.  :daumenhoch:

Can you take a pic of the chainring on the crank?

I think the crank arm is too wide to sit in the cut out on the hutch spider  :daumenhoch:

It sits in the cut out ok, it just doesnt sit flush when i tighten the nut. Although i just tightend the nut up really tight and it seemed to be a lot more solid. Dont spose i will be able to see how it is properly until its all put together. Thanks for your help.
