must be skywaym4n's mate.....................biagio. :knuppel2:

What annoys me more than the prices this nobhead wants to charge, is the fact that its 'not available to the UK' even though he's based here.
No wonder he's got no friends on here
-
It's what we've come to expect with him now, I don't even contemplate visiting their site now, but I did try to get some orange Tuff pads off them last year as I was struggling to find anywhere else, everything was good, order process via eBay, but then, nothing recieved. >:(
I sent an email, to which they replied straight away saying they were on holiday, I got a further email from them a week later saying the pads I wanted were out of stock but offered me the alternative newer type or a full refund, I went for the refund, took another week for them to reimburse my paypal account. >:( >:(
Proper dodgy fookers spoiling a fantastic hobby. :Aresehole: :daumenhoch:

You might think that customer service would be top of the list with the mark up he's making, but he seems intent on being despised. So be it.
Been on a couple of times for smaller parts in the last year. I found a price that was more or less reasonable, until I went through all the checkout process to find it had suddenly gone up a few quid since I pressed the buy button! Blimey, thats inflation for ya!
-
Biggie set his stall out a long time ago. That is what he does for a living.
Nothing new there.
I object to the arseholes who think they can roll up, make a half arsed attempt at integrating, and then start fooking on with parts and pricing.
It's just not on.
I don't do liberal, I do don't take the piss out of me and vice versa.
I always said I would never sell any of my stuff on for a profit, which is almost impossible now, but if i was to sell something, then it would be as neaer as I could to what I paid without undermining what stuff actually goes for, if that makes sense.
Anyone who knows me will testify to that, and there are plenty of other people on here who I know think like this too. I think the word I would use is 'fair'
Shame there are a few knobheads and shitlickers who think different.

im doing 1 more build then thats it for me, the fun side to this hobby is slipping away as has been showed over the last couple of days, had to get some tyres form Rini's and have been seriously stung by customs and Parcelforce. Wanted to do a couple more but dont see the point in all the aggro involved :-\

fookin lol
it's not like elliot even had those pads on his bike
-
It's no wonder ET left with them prices.

have just bought a nova like I had as a kid, and am doing that, soon.
Then I will have two part bikes left over, loads of parts and a couple that need tweaking.
Will trade a couple of frame sets and do something altogether new as well.
Still a good craic, still like bmx's. Radchester soon enough, and it would be nice for everyone to do something new/ tweaked if they can.
About time a few people were a bit more honest. Making it what it should be, A laugh, a distraction, an escape, or even a business.
Long as everyone's telling the truth, then everyone else has no option but to deal with it.
I can deal with the truth. Might not like it sometimes, but lesst you know where you stand.
Snidely cnuts should be weeded out and disposed of.

Yeah prices are shocking for some stuff. I'm lucky I can afford to buy some nice bits. But that doesn't mean I don't enjoy looking for a bargain. I don't like the way that some honest dedicated radsters sell there rare loved items for well below current prices to a fellow radster thinking they are helping them out with a build on a budget. Only to find the stuff sold again within days on eBay or the museum for a stupid amount. Those users should be reported and banned!!
I think a rule should be made in the for sale section to let buyers know this will not be accepted. And a ban will be put in place. :daumenhoch:

ive made mates for life off here, i'll enjoy the bikes I have and continue going to all the events I can, its just the cost of things, $600 for a padset is just fookin ridiculous, trying to find decent tyres and pedals is a nightmare, id rather spend my money on crack ;D

I haven't had an old school bike for a few years now, But found a round holed Torker the other week, Been looking at some bits for it and I can only afford to build it as a rider/survivor. Bits that where cheap as cheaps awhile back are 4 x the price now. SR MS-422 stem on the bay all going for £20 plus quid. I managed to get one from Sparky for £15 today. These were selling for a fiver at MK a couple of years ago.
While people are paying the prices they will keep rising.
-
I got back into OS recently after a ten year hiatus... First thing I noticed are the insane prices of this stuff! :idiot2: I had countless sets of MX1000's that I used to sell for £20 a pot... When I saw tha current prices of them, my head nearly fell off! :uglystupid2: I pretty much let all of my collection go 10+ years ago. Some of the stuff I had, I couldn't give away. My 100% HLT was one of the bikes that I struggled to shift. I've recently seen crappy HL framesets go for the same price I let the complete bike go for. I contacted the guy who I sold it to, but he had sold it on... The @£$ who bought it immediately parted it out and made a small fortune off it :2gunsfiring_v1:
..as been said. If people buy at these prices, the prices will remain. Sadly, many guys who are in it for the passion of BMX, will not be able to do this hobby anymore. :-[ For me, that's not what this was ever about. :knuppel2:

Qu'est-ce-qui se passe, la? Mince.

the bar pad is straight :D

I'm happy wobbling about on my cheapest bike but can see how it can get very expensive for show-pony bike builders
Have even been considering selling my haro and maybe having a bash at something else (not allowed any more bikes at home :D)
but for me the best bit about this hobby is the bunch of mentals on here - met a load of safe peeps through this site and they don't give a fook how much your bike cost
-
Well said :daumenhoch:
-
The interesting thing for me about this lark is that one RADster's, Rider is another RADster's dream bike, and another RADster's Show Pony could be vile. :idiot2:
I adore my Diamond Back, and I detest Hutches.... I am certain my Pro Large makes some people ill, but that is why we are a community. :daumenhoch:

how do you put a value on stuff thats becoming scare and collectable ? if someone has got the dosh they will pay it whatever because money is nt an issue and they want it , like ebay , two well off peeps bidding it ll go through the roof and put prices on this stuff outta reach for most , lots of stuff in life is becoming a rich mans game , blame them , blame whoever but its fact
Take collectable art , fooking crackers some of the prices that fetches , again the wealthy dictate the market because there paying these asking prices , then when they pay such n such they want such n such back and more when they sell
Take for instance this little collectable , is it worth what he is asking ? in my eyes no because of what other motors you could get for the dosh , but if i had the dosh id be down there now not even thinking about the price , just because i want it

You will not stop people asking crackers prices and people paying it ,end of the day these bikes are bits of metal , plastic n rubber , aint worth getting in a flap about

on the other hand there are peeps within the world wide bmx community who when they get rid of their stuff sell to the community at good prices

Holy cow that escort is stunning

True, all you can hope for on here is honesty and when we sell between each other, the part isn't sold on months later for a vast profit. Leave that shiit to eBay
-
But would you spend that money on a fake Escort though? ;)
Is a replica Cobra worth more than an original Shelby Cobra?

most replica cobras look and sound the boolocks and will maim at will :LolLolLolLol: but is worth way less than an original in monetary values, originals will command big cash so again its all about the money , Is a replica cobra worth more than original ? yes in fun and enjoyment in my eyes as i would nt wanna drive a mint original for fear of writing the thing off :LolLolLolLol: or damaging it or putting the miles up on it , just for show
if you have the cash you will do as you please

At least that guy had the 'decency' to sell it on eBay. There was a Welsh guy on here who would buy at rock bottom price on this forum, then stick it back up for sale a few days later with his mark-up added. He was doing it for ages and not a lot got said. Nothing new in this and just the way it goes I guess. ::)
