Hi Folks,
Originally from UK (ex 80s BMXer) that now lives down in New Zealand. Never got the BMX bug out of my system and have re-owned at least one for the past 12 years ish? Wanting to get into the oldschool stuff, as its what I had as a lad. Wish I had bought and kept everything when I was 17!!
Anyway, just bought my first real old school frame and fork set (or at least I think it is?) in a Raleigh Freestyle. Advert said it was 1985 but I cant confirm this unless anyone knows frame numbers?
I also own a few other toys in my box...
1990s (Mid School?) Redline Signature Series (Chrome n Red n Black)
Also new school stuff...
SE Racing So Cal Flyer 24" (Matt Black)
29" SE Racing Big Ripper (Matt Black)
26" Woodgrain SE Racing OM Flyer (Err..Wood?)
I also recently bought a 2011 Kona Shonky just because they look sweet with no paint on them. No idea what I will do with it??
Going to be on the look out for lots of nice old stuff over the next few weeks. Then make a parcel to ship over to NZ. No doubt you wil;l see me about sniffin!
CHeers for now and see you out there
Dave...

Cheers all.
Winter is on its way and so dark night in will give me more time to search for bits I need. Always seem to be busy doing something, but am sure I will find the time to get back into the BMX world. I search webiostes here daily for anything that may turn up. I am also looking to do the rounds of junk shops, scrap yards and auction houses. There are still old bikes sat out there that people just throw away. Shame they are not the Euro and US models though. BUt beggars cant be choosers.
