I cant really remember exactly what happened but i was jumping a set of doubles on the baddow pump track that I have been flowing over all week. Next thing I know I am on the floor with loads of people crowding round me. I smashed my head pretty hard and was pissing claret all over the track. I was wearing a helmet, but for the first time over there just a piss pot. I didnt have any pads on either as I guess I was feeling confident in my riding! I now have 5 stitches in my head, a fracture in my arm just below the elbow and a shit load of gravel rash! I have learned my lesson and when I can ride again it will be back to the full face and I will put the pads on. I am just gutted now as it means at least six weeks wiyhout riding the track, no mountain biking over Danbury and no London Cruise for me :'(
A couple of pics:

A couple of days before I was flying over it no problem. It just goes to show that the smallest of jumps can fook you up, and we dont bounce like we used to :LolLolLolLol:

Fooking hell Lee you`ve done a proper job there :(
Get some toilet paper on the gravel rash before you go to bed and it`ll stop you sticking to the sheets, then just wash it off in the shower in the morning :daumenhoch:
Try to remember that there is one thing that is 100% going to happen when you ride bmx, and thats is that you will crash at one time or another, it might not be your fault but it`s going to happen, so be ready for it by wearing as much protection as you can, you might look ike a dick with it on, but it looks a lot better than you do now :daumenhoch:
