never found it in wilkos, you probably need to try an independent shop instead

Halfords etc don't sell it motor factor places don't either.  A few said it wasn't a great seller so don't stock it.
Halfords do autoglym metal polish which works really well.

i've always used autosol which i thought was good, but i'm sure i've seen polishing posts somewhere that say peek is the stuff to use. i've plenty of autoglym products but no metal polish. i may have a butchers at that next time i'm in halfords then.

goddards cloth are sold in Sainburys in the cleaning section or ask in store

The bigger Tesco stores sell Peek metal polish :daumenhoch:

I've not seen the Goddard cloth though. BITD I'd use Duraglit, orangy coloured impregnated wadding that came in a tin, dunno if you can still buy it though?

i'll look in to tesco's then. i'm going to try and do my ukai rims as shiney side's. i was hoping to get started this week so i'm looking into what to finish polishing them with. with regarding chrome and nickel polishing i used brasso wadding on my goose nickel forks and that removed light rust spots and brought them up very good

he did, as he is me   ;D

the peek is to smooth out the surface - hair line scratches reflect the light in different ways ~ so hence you see the light from different angles - peek is a soft paste that flattens most surfaces and doesn't leave the lines - hence you can get a reflective surface or mirror look - how much of a polished look you want will be down to how long and hard you use it

the goddard cloth helps bring up the surface on most metals as it has a polish in it already - you can make a peeked surface look better or you can simply use a yellow dust - try it all in different ways on different stuff - a goddards cloth can also make powder frames look sweet

me i use peek then goddards cloth and then you can even use house hold polish after witha duster

just try and see what works best

I just use a cloth with the peek, then the goddard's one by itself after (not peek ON the goddard's cloth)

i didn't end up going anywhere to get polish today (the nearest big tesco is 20 mile away) but i did remove my grinding wheels from my bench grinder and fitted some polishing mops to it for the first time ( as their not balanced they don't half vibrate alot). i'll start wet and drying my wheels for shiney side's then i'll defo have to get some peek and goddards
