A Powerlite is on my list of future builds. Very underrated bikes. Some of their mid school bikes were nice as well.
-
JT Smooth won loads of Old Skool rounds on a CW Pistol Pete,
Davey has won Old Skool rounds on Powerlites, both 20" & 24" I think.
Rooski has won on a Freeagent, and there have been plenty of them raced at MK etc.
Plenty love there.

This mini frame sold the other week on the bay....... wot year's this from??

-
there was an awesome powerlit f/f in the trade section a couple of months ago, fantastic frames, as above, underated.
i think fashion dictates a lot, gt pros are grossly underated too IMO

I've got a srx powerlite that dale Holmes had in the 86 he got it for me brand new but I've just started to rebuild it after all these years and I still have the powerlite bars in white :daumenhoch:

I've got some mid-schools. Got them around 1996. A couple of minor scuffs I think. Let me know if you're interested and I'll take some pics.

I got a Powerlite pro off the bay about 3 years ago, postage was more than the frame! Just got it back from SBD, riding it on Sunday :)
-
good thread neil,my cw was the only one at mk although jamroll had is freestyler there as well.im a massivw cw fan, when i took mine to the bournemouth bash Tim March nearly beat himself off over mine,he said the bars were the epitomy of os bmx,and my zx was exactly how he remembered the cw's bitd,i won a number plate for my efforts too, lets hear some love for the cw's :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Shiner had a Powerlite frame and forks, in chrome at MK for 120 notes. Nobody touched it. I wish I had now!

Few Free agent pro long/limos :smitten:
first one is a 1986 pro long,21"tt,74 degree head angle, reinforced bb and head tube, this is in 1986!
Only drawback is lack of brace behind bb,this was added in late 87 early 88 (limo models).
