Title: new frame details help please
Post by: motomagII on March 30, 2012, 10:32 AM
looking at 2 frames in a sale and may think about getting one as im struggling to find cheapy good second hand one .
now they are blank frames which i know probably arent super nuice but the are :Full 4130 Chromoly
• Tapered Seat Stay
• Oval Chainstay
• Internal Headset
• Cnc'd 5mm rear drop outs
• Machined Mid Bottom Bracket Shell
• Removable Brake Hardware
• Intergrated Seatclamp
so i guess that they are reasonably good but they have 2 different ones onlt fdifference is
headtube 74.5 or 75 and rear stays 13.75 or 13.67 .
now the 74.5 headtube one has got the longer top tube for me but is this head angle wrong  for park ,dirt and track useage this one also has slightly longer back end which im okay with
just worried about the head angle more than anything

So you want a new school frame to do anything on? Race/park/trails

Id speak to stodgy.........he'd give you good advice.  just cos a frame is full cromo don't mean its any good.

Blanks aren't that great in the scheme of things.

Gashead just sold a cracking frame n forks for just over a ton
