anyone else think these maybe fakes?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MID-OLD-SCHOOL-S-M-BMX-JERSEY-/251019531987?pt=UK_Cycling_Clothing&hash=item3a71ee16d3
they say there old/mid and have the old shield design (bicycles made in usa not american bicycle co) which would be correct
they have 5 different sizes and 9 in total available and no original retail packaging
unless its a old stock find along with the original shield stickers that come free with every t shirt???
-
None of my old s&m tees have that label in the neck nor have I seen
One like that. And I never had a free sticker either.
Also it looks printed vinyl not screen print but cant be sure.
I think He's trying too hard

ive sent chris a email with a link to the ebay page so he can confirm they 100% fake (i know they are)
-
i was thinking in buying one of them shirts, glad i did'nt now :-\
-
yeah they are misleading, he has now pulled the auction so chris has either got in contact with him and had words or he has seen this thread and pulled em :LolLolLolLol:
its a bit out of order ripping off s&m t shirts to sell on ebay, decals fair enough if the originals are no longer available and the buyers are aware they are repos (like del's great work) but to copy something that is available from the company (s&m still do shield t shirts) and pass it off as real is out of order
what kinda makes it worse is that they knew to use the old logo not the new one so most prob they are a bit of a s&m nut and may even be known on the scene!
-
I'm surprised these aren't already being sold in the Jumble sale section by now ???

Ages ago at one of the Hastings Backyard Jams i was sat with Moeller chatting. Someone walked past with a Green S&M cap that just said "S&M BMX" on it. Moeller said "thats a rip off hat. We've never made a hat with that logo on it.
I knew the dude wearing it too. I didnt tell him it was a fake. :-X

I ended up buying one whilst drunk.....the evils of booze + eBay ;D
-
ahh so your helping rip off good, decent hard working companies by buying knock offs :LolLolLolLol:
you could have bought a real one for the same price :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:
gotta love the next morning, thinking why the fook did i buy that!

Damn right ;D
Yep - was a face-palming moment the next day......followed by some dry-heaving (the missus went away for the weekend so I felt obliged to drink).
Reckon it's someone on here - there's mention of 'getting rad on my bmx' in me feedback ;)

Update on this (misguided) purchase.
Messaged the bloke on eBay, and they offered me a partial refund (as they admitted they were 'replicas'). Wanted to return and get a full refund, and guess what - no response, so have opend an eBay dispute.
Now the sellers saying it said they were replicas in the eBay listing ;D Oh dear.
Well, Dave Alexander of Rugby (blackwalnutleisa on eBay) - you're a bit shady ain't ya?

A future collectable Danny :daumenhoch:
-
lol after i emailed moeller the listing was pulled then a few days later the lsiting was up again saying replica then within a couple of hours it was pulled again

;D
Sh1t - better hang onto it then..... you should see the state of the decals they sent as well....vinyl cut (badly). Do wonder if they're on here though (hiding) ;)
