Title: Rear ends, cranks & pegs
Post by: ED209 on April 02, 2012, 09:14 PM
Just been for a 3 mile ride and kept catching my heels on the pegs... I kind of adapted my pedaling style to get round it but do people run shorter cranks?

Got some Peggy Mitchell pegs and Profile cranks ... not sure on the length ... is it just something you get used to?

I found the same thing, but you seem to adjust the foot a bit to compensate, I only run pegs on the right side front and rear on my NS so it's not so bad, as if you run both rear pegs. But you get used to it :daumenhoch:

im the same as dan, when im not pedalling my foot rests between the pedal and peg, when pedalling i just slide it forward slightly on the pedal and it dosent catch the peg

Ed you won't pedal much when park riding so it won't be a problem if you've just got pegs on the grind side of your bike  :daumenhoch:

I can't ride my sons bike due to it's 13" rear end and pegs on the right, i ride left foot forward, he rides right foot forward
