Title: alloy mtb bars
Post by: john4130 on April 03, 2012, 11:58 PM
i've been looking for an alloy 22.2 unfluted seatpost to butcher up a pivotal post with no luck, i've seen alloy mtb bars on the bay cheep but does anyone know if these will be 22.2mm. i think their wider at the clamp area but the grip area should be 22.2mm. i only need about four or five inches of pipe.

do you think they will be aluminium? it doesn't say. may have to ask as they would be perfect, but i,ve seen cheaper alloy mtb bars on the bay.

cutting down renthal bars John, is a bit like making love to a beautiful woman...

firstly all renthal bars of this era are aluminium and very strong, next is to choose your length and then make that cut; slipping it nicely into her seat-tube as required.
