Cheers, I'll be sure to pass on the information to myself the random Old Skooler.
I might just have a look for some other option, ie chemicals that could darken plastics etc.

What colour are the tyres then? ;) :daumenhoch:
-
don't forget there is a world beyond us that might just ride any tire and not worry if the colour doesn't match or if it's gum wall or skin or coloured - i think it's called real life ??? not sure as i haven't been there in a long time ;D
would ebay not be a good place to sell them and then buy old school bmx parts with the money to keep you happy ? ??? ;)
-
No, I got them for free so I'll use them - I think they'll be ideal for winter commuting, just prefer them to not be so bright pink ;D
-
Giz a look, may be interested if there are any spare ;)
Are they diamondback by any chance, like the ones in my avitar?
-
No, not Old Skool at all - 26" Halo Twin Rail tyres that I plan to use on my OM Flyer [daily commuter bike] next autumn/winter.
-
just spray paint them.
-
Try the acetone method.
-
get em ridden pink john they are free and good bloody tyres

This, or there is a thing called tyre paint, I need some as I got paint on my whitewall tyres
-
Could give you an advantage John.
You could take the lead while the boys are winking. ;)
-
you could do the walls with hypalon flexi paint, leaving just a 1/2" strip in pink on the running surface, we used to use it on inflatable boats, will probably cost more than the tyres though,
Man up and ride the pink!!!
