...well most of it... I still hate big black motorbike tyres and rusty frames...but...
I LOVE MY SUPERCROSS. :smitten:
Rode it in anger at the Boardroom last night... I just seemed to go twice as fast on it... its half as light and it span easier... went higher ... just better at everything.
It made my Haro just feel.... well... old!
I had to have a go at Jol for not making me buy a new school frame earlier!
I'd started to lose interest riding my Haro... didn't feel like I was progressing... but now it feels like I can move forward again... just need to update a few parts as we go :daumenhoch:
So I'd like to tell Alex, 2BRob, Betty, Lenny and anyone else I argued against for keeping my mid school ride... you were right! I just had to get there in my own time and on a bike that I love riding... love ya fellas :smitten:

About fooking time! ::). Did you push the bars forward so it makes the steering all crappy like an old school bike? ;)
Matt did last week, fook me I tried his nice looking subrosa out and the bars were so far forward it was like a burner!

:)
It was a revelation... I had FUN... it was just FUN to ride.
There's no way I would have made the move without the Supercross as it maintains the 'style' I kept banging on about... but the way that the bit taller than Spen ends pop up and balance so good is a dream  just got to get my parts list a bit more new school now

Next step is a single top tube ed!!!!!!!!

Never that... unless its got a Bashguard on like the Bully style ones that Subrosa nearly did
Anyway leave me alone now as I'm designing myself a new decal set in the style of a 91 Master but with Supercross on instead... that should get me some abuse :smitten:

Get yourself on source Ed, if you choose spokes, rims and hubs from them with the spoke as wheelbuild option they build it for free, and everythings has 10% off until monday at midnight, including already sale items, loads of nice rims and hubs :daumenhoch:

:4_17_5: Glad you like the new ride mate
I 've had a similar revelation , got a 2011 Haro 500.3 and its like a whole new world has opened up, it feels so easy to ride, can't wait to take it to a skatepark, i'll never go back. And to think , i 'll never have my life blighted by the phrase NOS again :daumenhoch:

Hey, glad to hear you had so much fun on your new bike.
Im all for people owning whatever bike they like, for whatever reason, but if you want really ride a bike it HAS to be a new one (how ever you chose to build it up).
But fairs fair, those Haros were junk at the time. Im sure the only reason anyone (who wasnt on the Haro team) rode them was cos Hoffman used one .... and even he made it clear how crap they were

Welcome to the club, Ed! :daumenhoch:
Chuffed to bits for you, and your build still has an OS aesthetic vibe running through it, so all is good :smitten:

A Revelation from Ed, of course you now have to drop the "sell out" lecture we've all had :LolLolLolLol:
As you know Ed i'm a Sport lover my self , but it just doesn't ride how i remembered it , i'm older, fatter (you more so :-* :-X) and i don't ride anything like i used to,sad to say the Sport just didn't feel right, :'( it has taken me ages to get used to the NS as you know i have to work real hard on even the simple tricks so throw a bike that rides differently and you can see why i've struggled with it , but its been worth it. The Sport will have on outing or two unless like you suggest Ed it goes to get some better wheels ;D,
like everything else things change for a reason and the recent changes in bikes has been a revelation to our chosen pass time :daumenhoch:
-
;D new school 2 the max ed!
Its a nice frame mate :daumenhoch:
-
Pah! It rode rubbish Ed. You'll never catch me on a new school bike.......

I'm getting myself ready for my new school ride. Hopefully it will be done by the end of the month. I'm picking up my hubs today. :)
I'm hoping the geometry isn't to much of an issue. I must admit I did get used to my mirra pro series and it rode great. Although it was bloody heavy. When I went back to the 80's rides they felt a bit weird. I thought it would be like putting on an old pair of slippers. But sadly it wasn't. I'm hoping the new school is more like riding the mirra pro. But a lot lighter. I will be having a long seat post. I can't stand a slammed seat. My biggest dilemma is the bars. As I have two sets and I love them both. I'm gonna have to try them both out and then decide! Or put it to a rad vote :daumenhoch:

Was there anything ed didnt get his mahooooooooooosive sprocket caught on Saturday night
