what's that little gay tag on the BB for?

what's that little gay tag on the BB for?
To hold the bash guard in place...
or was it a strap on?
-
Believe it or not, that little horrid tag on the bb shell was for mounting a chain guard! It came on the bike when my mate first bought it brand new and complete in 91. The bike looked lovely then, with sparkly green paintwork, but over the years its been v v neglected. All the parts were beyond saving, apart from the crank and stem! So I ended up having it off my mate so I could give it a new lease of life. Its powdercoated, not painted, and the finish is nice!

Where did you get that powdered? Still waiting to hear back from Superbikedan about my looptail. :)

theres a powdercoaters in Hove near where I live - theyre dead good!

Top job!!!!

To hold the bash guard in place...
the bash guard is kinda integral to the frame
its held on by the head tube and the rear dropouts
-
are you gonna put a chainguard on it?
-
got to
a metal one
