Post by: Woz on May 07, 2012, 07:59 PM: Bad news guys, took the kids out today to the RAF museum at Hendon, good day out until on the way home the gearbox on the Merc expired. Took 1.5 hours for the AA man to turn up and another 1.5 hours to get home.

Just looked up replacement gearbox and Mr Benz wants £4k to purchase without fitting. So don't think this is going to happen this week before the stag so very unlikely I will be able to make it, ABSOLUTELY GUTTED!

Also I was giving RAC66 a lift so not sure if he will be able to make it either.

Was really looking forward to this one as well, hope you all have a great night soz Lenni, see you at the next one. :-[

he reckons that my ligaments are showing some signs of improvement, but strongly advised against 'doing BMX stunts' if I want it to heal (for at least the next 6 weeks!)
fooking gutted, but since the alternative is having him cut it open and putting pins in I'm going to have to pass on this, won't be able to make the 26th either :(
