Title: Do you give your bikes 'pet' names?
Post by: Hellcat on April 13, 2012, 10:56 PM: Yes, it might sound a bit 'gay', but hear me out. It wasn't my idea...

When I was thinking on colours for my new build, I contacted a mate who's a bmxer & an ace graphic artist & asked him for colour ideas.

He replied: "Think of what you're going to call her 1st, then the colours will come easily".

Haven't met her yet, so dunno what I'll call her...

Is this normal? Does anyone else have names for their bikes? ;)

Akguff has started to call one of his bikes Hellcat - seems like he really wants to ride it bad and hard till it brakes - it's gotta real preeeeddy rear tire :crazy2:

when I was 20 I had a mini called Floyd (guess what colour he was :D)
and I had 2 golfs called rolf, rolf senior was a mk2 driver and rolf junior was a mk4 GTI

never named any of my company cars though as they had no soul

due to other frames of the time having 20" or less top tubes and the holmes having a 21" and a longer rear end

Named by PeterJ I do recall Jay from the one night I rode it..... But this is a gay thread, so the pink thing should be right at home. Please could a mod move it to "hi i'm new here and haven't been outside for a long time" section please?
