Title: 99 S&M challenger XL

finished painting it last night and stickering it up  :smitten:.
just need a set of rainbow comps for it now to finish it up.but pretty much as im gonna leave it this time.
sun came out for 10 mins so thought i'd get a few pics  :).

checkout the glare off my pedals  ;D.i know i should take em out but they still all new and i dont wanna scratch me peds lol.
gone with a half pinch 401 redline crank on this one for a change to profiles.

which ones would they be big jj.
these were the ones that were on it years ago when i got it.

and you gotta love a bit of ginga colour coding aint ya  :crazy2:... :LolLolLolLol:

and sid if i spend any more money on bikes mate.im gonna be the one sleeping with em.her in doors it catching on that these bikes dont cost the £50 i said the do to build  :uglystupid2:

Excellent, A challenger XL is top of my wishlist....
I have a pair of NOS rainbow label comp3's that might be what you are after dude. Fat/thin combo.

Nice bike. I got fed up with heavy bikes and I rode one very similar to that for a good few years (even tho its still pretty heavy! haha).
Mine came with Canti brakes on the seat stays but I cut them off and put 990s on. I also thickened up the dropouts cos I ran pegs on it.

This is how it looks now ..... almost exactly the same as when I rode it. I think its just the rear hub and the crank arms that are different
(I gave it to a mate to use and he gave it back to me a few months ago)

cool bike.i like the blue.
still lookin for one the same as mine then lol.
all the ones iv'e seen are all with the brake lugs on the seat stays.
there dont seem to be as many of these challengers about compared to say dirtbikes or holmes.was they a bad seller or something ?.

Challengers were a race frame, and racers don't really like U brakes, they prefer Canti brakes (they still do now).
They always came with the U brake option. My MK1 1" challenger is a U brake one.
