Title: 1984 MT Racing 'The Fox Special Edition' Restoration *Pic Heavy*
Post by: Macmania on April 16, 2012, 03:05 PM: Picked this up 85% complete last year and it feels like it's taken an age to get sorted.

After a full strip down the Frame was quickly dispatched to Dan who matched the paint perfectly with the original. The crank and bars were sent to Hockley for a re-chrome. Big thanks to these guys - their work is top-notch as always :4_17_5:

Also a big thank you to Del for reproducing the decals - another awesome set..........thanks Del :4_17_5:

Anyway..............it's a pretty rare 1984 MT Racing 'The Fox Special Edition' which shares the same Frameset as the UFO. 19" Toptube and full Chromo Frame and Forks. These were available in a multitude of colours BITD but hardly any seem to have survived.

Fully restored to factory spec using the correct parts which are always a nightmare to find ??? Hope you like her :)

It had the original akisu fork too, so i'll use them on my Fox as that has the no name copy akisu ones on it at the moment.

Think I would be tempted to keep the original Akisu forks with the Superfox (pics please ::) ) rather than splitting them up :( The forks for the Fox are completely different anyway :)
