Title: Tyers???
Post by: Mdbh on April 17, 2012, 09:10 PM
Right I need new tyres for my ns build, I want tan walls, the biggest concern is weight I'm running khe Kevlar 1's and there light as a feather?,
My mate had some fit faf tan walls but they worn down really quick! Any ideas?

olly the only reason my fit fafs have worn down so quick is too many 540 tyre taps!!!!

shane has had his longer than me and his are fine, he runs the 2.5 version, make sure your frame can take a tyre that big before u order them

there is nothing around that as light as the khe's at the momment, the primo v monsters look good (hence why ive ordered mine) only downside is the weight as there is no kevlar beaded version

look at odyssey tan walls too as they have a good selection, mart runs a beaded set

KHE do tan walls now, only in wire beaded versions though

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KHE-Light-Weight-BMX-20-x-2-1-MAC2-TAN-WALL-STREET-Trails-Street-Park-/180761184653?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item2a1634c98d#ht_1094wt_952

They're still light compared to v monsters and the like  :daumenhoch:

Keep saying i'll get some when my current KHE's wear out. fronts about 4 years old  ;D

I don't get out enough  :-[

Might explain why i've never seen any   ;D

Got a pair of duo brand tan walls but their grip... or lack of is shocking in indoor parks

my v monsters arrived from custom riders yesterday, very happy with em

apart from the fedex guy deciding that as i wasnt home he would leave them in my neighbours bin, on bin collection day!!!!!!!!!!!

luckily the bin collection had already taken place!!!

It will be ok for a mess about if it's raining! The mini spine is tight but worth a ride!:)

gonna say it looks tight!! and no coping or its very small and not much platform space but then again it is made for scooters

which ones, the Magro or Amplo?

if Amplo then make sure your frame can take a 2.35 tyre!
