I've seen an Odyssey leading edge seat on the bay. The main part of the seat is black but the rear part is grey. I was wondering if you can bleach/dye this rear part so that it goes to white. You can remove this rear part and refit it after. Can anyone help or has anyone done it before? :daumenhoch:

Need to see a picture
but in practice of dying and bleach the slight rules are - if the dye has been put in at the process of making then the dye will run the whole way through - so the bleach will only take out from the top of the surface and a couple of mm in some times - the colour will be zapped out and some times only dull /fade the colour
it just depends on the seat and what it's made of ???

I'll try and get a photo up tonight. The auction is ending tonight, so I'll try. :daumenhoch:

Here are some pics of the seat. As I said before , the rear part looks like it unclips from underneath. :daumenhoch:

Just looked at the pic's - sorry mate will not bleach white :-\ :-[
as for dying - it might but it has to be a darker colour and if it doesn't have any nylon in it when it was made it will not take - if it does it might dye ok
it's never easy to tell till it's in yer hand
is the plastic hard or soft / you don't show how it un-clips
if you were to dye it what colour are you looking to go ?
cheers B ;)
