Post by: oldschoolace on April 18, 2012, 07:05 PM
Bought one of these frames in a moment of madness as it looks kinda cool and i dont have owt early (1980)

Its a Batavus Deluxe and is dutch but thats about all i know. Any help would be great and if someone has some decals that would be bloomin marvelous.  :4_17_5:

I found it on foreign shores  ;)

It was too odd and cool to leave alone but thankfully the bank manager wont be too alarmed.
First thing i did was to look on the museum but there is only one on there of this model and precious little info.
Thankfully the decals shouldnt be to difficult to reproduce if i have to. Should be a fairly easy font to find  :daumenhoch:

Cheers all.  :daumenhoch:

I was in two minds for a while as i dont really have time for a new project but it just seemed too unusual, given its year, to let go.

Fell better about the spend now its got a good response  :daumenhoch:

I'm guessing the seller doesn't know much about bikes as he included what he thought were bits for the bike. Whats that on the left?   ;D

Looks like it was a red one originally under the yellow spray bomb.
