Bought one of these frames in a moment of madness as it looks kinda cool and i dont have owt early (1980)
Its a Batavus Deluxe and is dutch but thats about all i know. Any help would be great and if someone has some decals that would be bloomin marvelous. :4_17_5:

It was too odd and cool to leave alone but thankfully the bank manager wont be too alarmed. :shocked:
First thing i did was to look on the museum but there is only one on there of this model and precious little info.
Thankfully the decals shouldnt be to difficult to reproduce if i have to. Should be a fairly easy font to find :daumenhoch:

I was in two minds for a while as i dont really have time for a new project but it just seemed too unusual, given its year, to let go.

Looks like it was a red one originally under the yellow spray bomb.
Think i will go with the blue and yellow scheme from the ref pics above...... just with a twist or two ;)

Thats a lovely looking OS frame.
What forks you gunna use? From the brochure, they came with Tange forks and Mr KAP has just listed a white pair in tonights new For Sale thread from him..
