Title: Faze7 Streetstyler looptail info request
Post by: rumen8 on April 22, 2012, 01:12 PM
I've picked a Faze7 Streetstyler, which is a bit tired and I was thinking of a bit of resto, but I can only find pictures of twin tube frames and no spec details of what might've been supplied with the frame and forks.  The one i have is a single top tube loop tail, with MX1000 calipers and CW bars on an SR stem..  Just wondering if anyone knows anything about them and can shed some light on who would've likely made it.  It feels light so might be 531 tubing.

It's not what the decals say it is I'm afraid, looks like a BH or similar European BMX.

I've had a look at the museum and it's not any BH that's in there, some of the mongoose frames are similar.  I couldn't see anything with the same style rear drop outs, they look like they're drilled for a coaster hub. The bottom tube to head stock gusset is a single pressing, not two flat triangular gussets.
This is probably the closest I've found http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/tensor/48296 but the gusset is drilled and the rear drop outs don't have the bottom holes.  >:(

Cheers

They were the same as the rebel as far as I can see, looking for more pictures of rebel ones I've seen some loop tail early rebel frames too
So I still don't know what it is/was  ::)

I'd stake my life it's not a Faze 7 or Rebel, I say Euro brand as the Iscaselle seat is usually found on Italian or Spanish bikes bitd, if it's not a BH then it's something similar and is a budget/low end bike with Faze 7 decals.
