Sat in today looking at my freshly painted forks so made a few tweaks.......
Got hold of a set of original 83 GT forks a few months back and as they were powdered and not chrome decided to get them sprayed up a candy blue colour, anyway swapped them over and changed the zap pads around and now have this summers rider 8)
Don't think i'm 100% happy with it but it'll do for now
How it was.......

I think I do actually agree with the silver forks looking better but as they are not GT the new ones will be staying and i'll probably have a play about with some other parts, maybe polish up the wheels too 8)
Think I might need to remove the pads though and just leave blank as they are not doing it for me :-\ :-\
Thanks for all the comment though :daumenhoch:

I love your builds Dale, always look just right and not too blingy!! I'm gonna have 1 one day then I'm finished buying any more stuff. :daumenhoch:

I can see why you went down the blue fork route
Greg Hill often rode em

Better now than having snide forks Daley :daumenhoch: ,, it would do my head in :crazy2: :daumenhoch:
It wouldn't be big bucks if you decided to eventually chrome them at a later date ::)
Great build mate :coolsmiley:

Totally agree with Christian here Dale. I would rather have the blue GT forks than the others.
I think maybe the 20's carry the blue forks off better as the chrome decal covers a bit more.
You have a lot more blue on show on the cruiser forks so it doesn't have the same proportion.
Still prefer them though. :coolsmiley:

Love it :smitten:
The blue forks give it a proper BITD look along with the other parts you've used :daumenhoch:
