It's a survivor 85(May) Sport (non knurled chainstay) f/fork's, i imported them from the State's about 2yr's ago. They've been sat up in the loft for a while now & seeing as i've nearly finished my last carpet queen i thought it best to get this built up for the summer :)
The f/forks have the odd few scratches & the dropouts have 'seen some action' over the yr's, but the chrome is in sweet condition :smitten:
The tuff's are steel hubbed(coaster) dated 1979 & are in fantastic condition, all they need is aqua blasting & they'd be good enough for show......may get them done in the future. Gonna be going for a yellow/black combo with this, i have yellow DC cables, yellow izumi chain, black Dia Compe Nippon calipers with Tech5 levers. Probably gonna put some copy CW's i have on it & a straight fluted Haro s/post. Just looking out for some yellow h/bar grips & repop yellow kashi seat & a potts mod stem, then she'll be ready to roll :daumenhoch:
A big thank's to 'The Man' Del for sorting the custom decals out.......you're a star :daumenhoch:
Will add some more pic's when she's complete...........cheer's for looking. Buz ;)

That is a stunner mate, I toyed with the idea of yellow decals with mine last year, but wasn't brave enough, i'm glad you were as this is excellent. :coolsmiley:
Can't wait to see it fully built. :smitten:

this guy is cheapest and your seat will arrive within a week, really good, but I have to say, his yellow ones look a bit orangy in the pic, maybe that's just the light.

Well....the pub/summer rider is now finished(now that summer is over :(), it took longer than planned as i now work in Europe for 2wk's at a time. It was gonna be a fairly budget build, but that soon went out the window ;D
Parts list: Anlum Sport h/bars, GT(80's stamped) seat post, Kashimax aero seat, DC mx s/clamp(re-furbed), DC Nippon caliper & lever's(re-furbed), Sugino 1pc crank with Sugino c/wheel & spider, Shimano DX pedals(thanks to a Rad member), izumi yellow chain, NOS yellow tuff pads, Tioga btm bracket, Haro Group 1 h/bar stem(re-furbed), Kenda K55 freestyle tyres(same as Panaracers), Oakley F1 h/bar grips(thanks to a Rad member), & steel hubbed coaster Tuff 's(dated 79) could do with aqua blasting in the near future.
To really finish this off i need a full standard length DC yellow rear brake cable(even just an outer will do)........anybody ;)
Also looking for a yellow Sharp bottom bracket boot chap's(if you know anybody) :coolsmiley:
A mahoooosive shout out to Del for making this build possible with his custom decals :daumenhoch: :4_17_5: :Great_Britain:
