Always nice when that happens ... Could have something to do with the value that they put on it or if it was classed as a gift , more cash to spend now mate :)

Some you win, some you don't, it's a lottery it would seem.
I've had a set of Aerospeeds and Hutch Peds come through with no charge but then a seatpost gets held and charged for.

Shipping times do seem to be getting longer though, a chainwheel I bought was sent out on the 23rd of this month as a 1st class letter and it's still in fookin LA :tickedoff:

I've had some VERY nice things land recently from the states and somehow managed to get away with paying fook all import tax, result. It does catch up with you at some point though  :'(

I notice when I started buying a lot from the states they started hiting me with tax, then I started buying again and then just as before the first few things got through then I started getting hit up the ribs again, I think they monitor on how much you buy, it's bollox but then again everything I need no one has it here so just have to except customs shafting me without vaseline  :crazy2:

The only way to get away with it mark as gift and put the value at 40bux and just hope it don't go missing
