Going to fill a dustbin (not wheelie bin) how many grames of Oxalic powder will I need roughly. Probably have to do 2/3rds of frame then turn it around ?

Dave
I have never measured it to be honest, just threw a load in and then soaked the frame in it.

I used about 450g of OA powder in about 30l (with the ballast)

Old drawer and some heavy plastic made a far better container, I was going to use the sandpit it was it but it was huge, so set the drawer inside incase it collapsed.

Thanks Stidds & rodriguez.
Good idea with the ballast, I have some old 5ltr bottles I can chuck in to make a stronger mix.

Dave mate, get a box just big enough, line it with a split open bin bag and wrap some brown tape round the whole thing for support. A 300L wheeliebin sounds but much. :LolLolLolLol:

Got my Acid :D How much do I take :D
OOPS ;D
I mean how long do I leave parts etc in it for? :daumenhoch:

24 hrs, it's at it's strongest during the first 24 hrs which is usually long enough.
When you take the parts out rinse them down well, not with fairy liquid mind it just makes metal rust.
