Well, I read last night on fb that the new TA XL is now going to be available from the end of June. So as they said April/ May in the beginning, we've lost a month already. ::)
They did add it will be worth waiting for, so we shall see. :daumenhoch:
-
You mean the new school 24" cruiser ?
-
You mean the new school 24" cruiser ?
Yes, sorry, should have made that clearer. ;D
-
I've got one on order..........
I'd be happy if it turns up in 2013 :'(
-
I would imagine most people that ordered one have probably been waiting years anyway, so a couple more months isnt so bad. did you go for the white or the chrome?
-
They didn't say which June :D
Be honest though ,, if you do actually get one it won't be soon . :-\
Taking past productions into consideration :-X

I went for chrome with race forks and cruiser bars. :daumenhoch:
Be nice if it's here for the summer. :D

We are working VERY hard to get this project done as perfect as we can! We tested a total of 3 revisions on our prototypes- a few framesets for each revision.
We found ways to strengthen the frameset, and to clean up a few things for cosmetic reasons. We are all satisfied with the results, and the framesets are now in production.
Our initial guesstimate put us in the March / April time frame, but with the additional testing and revisions that we made to better the frameset, AND the fact that we pretty much doubled our production numbers, we are looking at late June at this time.
We are making 700 framesets. 500 of them are shipping through me at PlanetBMX, and we will have the first 500 sets. 100 sets are going directly to Australia, and Skyway is keeping 100 for "family and friends" and for warranty.
Additionally- I will be getting in extra forks, in case people want to pick up an extra one, with or without brake mounts.
We are also making close to 1000 sets of handlebars, in 3 different styles- A Pro 20" bar, a Pro Cruiser bar, and a retro cruiser bar.
The Pro bars are coming in white, and chrome to match the framesets.
We are continually adding photos, as well as updates on the official Skyway BMX facebook page, found here-
http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Skyway-BMX/234829223374 (http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Skyway-BMX/234829223374)
It will be worth the wait! I've been riding the prototypes for the last few months, and I can honestly say that it's a GREAT riding bike!

DannyD.....
I did get your cancelation request on BMXmuseum, and I attempted to message you back TWICE so I could get your real name, email address, or order number so I could pull your paperwork and send a refund. But, your inbox is full, and it won't allow me to leave a response. Please clean out your inbox.

Which bars will come with the "kit" as specified on the website
becuase it just says in the options white or chrome cruiser bars :-\
-
The "race" bars are the ones offered in the kit. The retro bars were recently added to our lineup, and may not be available until after the framesets, and race bars are out.

YES. The next frameset we make will be a Pro XL frame with a 21" tope tube. We probably will do a few sizes in a 20" frameset.
