I'm sorry and i know i'll get flamed for saying so but i don't like it :-[
Those bars look awful, change em for some 2 piece and pull em back in line with the forks, and lower that flag pole :police:
You can't please everyone ;D
-
Awesome... :4_17_5:
-
im looking forward to seeing both of these built up. these retro condors are all starting to come together now. i didnt think they would be sought after so much being based on a mid school bike. im really happy i got mine. :daumenhoch: :smitten: :smitten:
-
Nice to see another chrome Condor frame :daumenhoch: maybe a bit too much bling though, is it to look at or ride?

Very nice Mr Timms. :daumenhoch:

no worries. i wanted to keep it in the style of the 90's original condors. The bars are one of my favorite bar sets of all time. so for me it was a good excuse to use them. i knew it wouldnt be everyones cup of tea but im happy with the way it came out. :)

I can see how the bars are dividing opinion, but i like them ;)
-
Awesome!! Well done Stu! :)
-
Really like this :4_17_5:
The attention to detail is amazing :daumenhoch:
The bars are a bit "marmite" but for this build I think they work really well ;)
-
The only thing I'd change is the seat ithink it looks a bit small compared to bars etc but apart from that very nice!
-

Blimey! that looks ACE!!
I didnt like the chrome version until I saw this one. Nice!!
Im in kent end of june/mid july. I dont know if you are nearby? When I mentioned I need to build mine what I meant was totally from scratch i.e install BB, cranks, gyro etc
Can this be done easily? Im shite with headsets/BB sets/gyros.......
-
I don't live near Kent. I'm from Bedford. A bit out of the way. :-\
-
Hi Stu,
It doesnt matter where whoever I choose to build it lives, as ill have to drive there anyway?
How long would a build take? 2 or 3 hours?
-
From Kent it will take 2.5hrs give or take half an hour. :daumenhoch:
What r u building. Pm me. :)
-
YAWN!!
Hoffman Condor 21" postal blue !!
lol
-
To build the bike will take 4-5 hours. Maybe quicker if you don't have any problems. Your brake bolts will need cutting down as I had to cut mine down to fit the frame. :daumenhoch:
-
Mine where all good :daumenhoch:

Silly question Stu, and as I havent even seen the frame yet, what size BB is it?? the adverts says MID
But that could mean 22mm OR 19mm.............
-
The bb is mid size. But can accept either of the two mid bb bearings. One has a centre hole of 19mm for a 19mm spindle like profile and most other makes. The other bearing has a 22mm centre hole that will take the less common spindle for primo cranks and a few others.
You need to find out what size spindle your cranks are using and buy a mid bb to fit it. :daumenhoch:
-
Thanks Stu, I thought it was to do with outside diameter....
Thanks!
Ash
-
My new arrival.....Happy days Stu!!
