Title: Kappys Workshop of fun!!
Post by: Banachek BMX on May 03, 2012, 10:19 AM: Went to see Darren Kap yesterday, all I can say is wow, that guy has some bike & parts. Never mind a killer West Coast Customs style body shop, a short wheel base Impreza with a custom mini body planted on top was one of but a few crazy jobs he had in. Now on to the BMX..... lets just say it was like going to the show tent at MK :smitten: What he has on his bike thread is only a portion of what he owns - he also had a stash of other people frames & parts to repair & or paint (in his own spray booth), he showed me a baby blue Quad & the finish was awesome :smitten:.
Then outside in the back, he is building a full on half pipe, that continues on to a foam pit.... no shit!!!
Last but not least was his 35ft american RV thingy that he's bringing to MK, I tried to get him to turn it into the SE Camo bus.

Post by: oldschoolib on May 03, 2012, 08:59 PM: i went to kappys a while back and banacheck is spot on, the place is awesome the stuff thats happening there is imense, and then as your walking round there is bmx stuff everywhere, but what made the visit for me was darren himself absolute top bloke and a good laugh to boot, a visit to kappys should be on peoples bucket list :daumenhoch:
