Awesome :4_17_5:
Hats off to ya Sam :daumenhoch:
-
Oooooooooooooooooh yes indeed thats class. I can appreciate the time taken over this to get it right, sourcing the parts, doing the research scratching your head but all worth it in the end. It's great to see builds that have actually had time spent doing the ground work to get it finished, rather than a morning spent knocking one up.
Great work Samo :4_17_5: :4_17_5:
-
That is thinking outside of the box! :4_17_5: never seen anyone do that build before? Awsome :daumenhoch:
-
Love it Sam :4_17_5: :daumenhoch:

Awsome :daumenhoch:
Dont retire just go slower :)

Very deferent and looking awesome! :daumenhoch:
-
Choice build :daumenhoch:
-
Now thats a replica worth having in any 'trophy' room. Not many people choose to rebuild that one Sam, great choice buddy and attention to detail. Time well spent imo, stunning :smitten: Well done!
Thats a keeper for sure :coolsmiley:
-
thanks guys..... :)
the frame took hours to get right, every stripe was masked off on a ALL blue frame which took ages as a measured every line off the origianal pictures, the first time i did this all the paint came off when i took off the masking tape, so i had to completely strip the frame and start again, Grrrrr.... never EVER again.....

:LolLolLolLol: I bet there were a few choice words said there ;D
-
Fooking love that Sam :4_17_5:
Someone needs to build the other ones and we can stick em all together with my Elliot ::)

Proper replica and even better than an ET imo.
Blinding work + effort well worth 12 months to finish.
Class just class :daumenhoch: :smitten:
-
Been a fair while coming , but a stonnkingly iconic build :coolsmiley:
I said when I first saw it in February , you'll knock em out with this 'un ;) :4_17_5:
Hard work paid off big time :daumenhoch:
-
Finally your first proper build Sammy; you've actually put pedals on it :LolLolLolLol:
Quality work once again, great attention to detail and looks spot on :4_17_5:
-
Pure class. :4_17_5:
-
Love it :daumenhoch:
-
For me the pics from bitd don't really do the scheme much justice tbh.
This does though Sam. The bike looks Lush. (http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/ll167/glynn9371/emoticons/LOVIN.gif) :4_17_5:

Absolutely excellent and true replica film bike. We were talking about this on Burnerworld a little while ago, and I'd been looking at the film stills and that guy on the museum who did one and got Bob Haro to sign it.
I like "Mike's" bike too which I think is white with red stripes. Must have taken you ages.
I have to get a KZ-1 one day...
Cool stuff :coolsmiley:
-
really cool build....stunning
