Evening -
Anyone got any tips on how this bottom bracket comes apart - there are no spanner opportunities on either side
Bike is a Standard byke 250

I don't have much luck when it cones to giving advice.. But it looks like you should take the spacers off and knock the spindle out(I use a plastic hammer to knock mine in). Then you are left with your cups to just knock out. You could take it to a bike shop and get them to do it, they could press a new one in as well. Might be best to see what the experts on here say but that's what I would do. I always find an old seat post useful for knocking out cups. Good luck...

Hammer and socket set extension bar :daumenhoch:
Let's have a look at the old Standard 8)

What he said ^^^^^^
Pop those washers off and knock the axle through, then go at the bearings from t'other side with a suitable drift (socket extension if you don't have a long punch). The bearing and it's cup will come out as one.

Thanks for the advice all I'll have a go at that tonight

Don't be scared to give it a good whack - they can be tight. I always run the bolt back into the axle and hit that to save damaging the splines on the axle ;)
